During this massage specific attention will be focused around the womb area. Womb massage can be really beneficial for a variety of issues. By focusing on the abdominal area it can help relax the uterus, reducing spasms, increase blood circulation and heat in the abdomen. Techniques will be explained and demonstrated so the client can learn to self massage at home as part of their self care routine. This is a beautiful relaxing massage that helps clients reconnect with their womb.

During the massage the body can be passively stretched, joints mobilised and targeted muscles and joints massaged. Specific techniques may also be used which involve active engagement from the client.

My name is Dawn, I am a fully trained massage therapist practicing near Aberfeldy in Scotland. I’m certified in Swedish and Sports and Remedial Massage with the Scottish Massage Schools. I am also a credited member of the SMTO (Scottish Massage Therapist organisation).

Through my own experience of chronic pain I have become fascinated by how the body processes and experiences pain and how it can heal. I believe that our experience of pain is multi faceted and that by supporting a person holistically it can have a profound effect on their healing.

Previously my background was in the Arts working hands on in sculpture and ceramics. I have been creating and experiencing through touch since I can remember, its deep healing qualities inspire me to continue learning.
